Chennai city is located at the north east of the state. The Chennai city is capital of Indian southern state of Tamhi Nadu Chennai city had developed in cosmopolitan cities in India, it plays important role of culture, historic growth of India and intellectual. Chennai is also known as cultural and educational hub of south India.

Chennai host has only one international airport it’s named as “Chennai International Airport (IATA: MAA)”. Chennai airport is located at suburb area of Tirusulam. The distance of Chennai airport is 18 KM from city railway station. In year ending January 2012, Chennai airport is third busiest airport in India in terms of both domestic and international passengers. The passengers terminal both domestic and international terminal interconnected by particular link building, administrative offices and restaurant is available in this building.

The first part to be built was international terminal which had two aerobridges it has followed by domestic terminal which is three aerobridges. The domestic terminal named ‘K. Kamaraj’ after former chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Chennai airport host as first airport of India Final destination of Air India’s first flight from Bombay via Belgaum in 1954.
